Just a quick picture of my Hanger 9 Sukhoi which will be my new Freestyle Model for the IMAC 2009 season.

The model has kindly been supplied by Horizon Hobby UK. It is powered by an Evolution 80cc engine on a K+S tuned pipe, Spektrum guidance and JR servos. All up weight is less 23lbs which for a 97″ wingspan model is very light. The pictures show one in the flesh & the custom made manifold my dad made up. (a big thanks to Kees and Phelim for getting the various bits required!)

Check out horizonhobby & aerobaticsni for more details.

Having a great day out

It was a windstill day, and most of us had their Flash/Yak or equivalent easy-no fuss planes out. Fun was really in the air, with 6-7 planes up at the time. The field seems to be drying up now, if the rain stays away for another 2-3 weeks, we are on solid ground again.

I’ve been going through my old collection of pics to find some suitable for displaying as header images. Of course I would be delighted to receive some from the honorable members too. Image width has to be (ideally) 1024 pixels. If you have good images that are smaller, then of course send them too.

Another website?

Why do you keep changing the website all the time??
Because I can? No, really, it’s all about making life easy. Apart from that, you buy a new plane occasionally, don’t you?

Actually it has to do with logistics. Webservers live somewhere. In my case this one lives on a different box than the old one. I’m trying to get everything on one server, saving my self some pennies and effort.

Will the old one be still available? Yes, for the time being.
I’m transfering sensible info, and the rest gets eventually recycled.
